Welcome to the Rain Forest Lodge

Welcome to the Rainforest Lodge, located on Prince of Wales Island in beautiful Southeast Alaska. We are here to catch fish, plain and simple. It’s our passion and we do it because we love it.

Located between Sitka and Langara Island, Craig is in close proximity to some of the richest waters in Southeast Alaska. Our season starts in June, with trophy king salmon and halibut; July brings with it the silvers. These fish are awesome. With aerobatic leaps and runs they are truly a sight to behold. Silvers and halibut are plentiful through the end of August.

Fish aboard the brand new 33' Ocean Sport Roamer. This vessel is a top of the line fishing machine. Weather permitting, remote overnight trips are a great option for the angler seeking maximum adventure.

Trout fishing in local streams and rivers is also great all summer.

Our guides are here to help, but at the Rainforest Lodge, we want you to have the full experience from baiting the hook to reelin’ her in. This struggle between man and nature is one you won’t soon forget!

The surrounding areas are plentiful in small town charm and native culture. With small shops and quaint restaurants, the island provides a true Alaskan experience.
